Here in pastoral surroundings you will find peace, privacy, and quiet. Just the wind in the trees, and the bird song...

You will be comfortable in cushioned cedar log seating, multiple cozy break-out spaces, and dine on the premises with delicious food served by our caterer as you gaze into one of two fireplaces, or view the forest through walls of windows or eat outdoors on picnic tables. Bright, beautiful wood cathedral ceilings and walls surround you. You will be comfortably warm in the winter and pleasantly cool in the summer.  Highland Lodge Center is a year round delight for groups who want a change of scene—to leave the work setting for a little while and spend quality time together—meeting, planning, learning, playing, and team building.

Walkways through the woods are beautiful all year long.  In the spring you may discover a carpet of rare white flowers growing wild, enjoy the forest, and observe several families of great blue herons nesting in the woodlands. In the summer the outdoor pool is available for team recreation along with a campfire for evening gatherings. In the fall wild splashes of vibrant color will surround and enchant you. When winter arrives you may wish to warm your body and spirit near our massive stone fireplace or take a crisp walk through the snow paths among footprints of the wildlife that abounds.

Highland Lodge Center is located within 15 minutes of Ithaca in Trumansburg, New York and very close by are two of our beautiful Finger Lakes, Cayuga and Seneca, a National Forest of over 14,000 acres, and dozens of fine wineries and eateries. Close by are shops, recreational opportunities, excellent restaurants, inns and hotels, Cornell University, and Ithaca College.  You will find them all to be boundless sources of interest and enjoyment throughout the year.

Contact us for a current Rate Schedule with or without catering.  We will quote a rate for your group that works with your budget, your numbers, and your unique wishes.

For planning purposes, the average catered rate per person is $45 per person per day for the rental of the Lodge, and for all day refreshments including continental breakfast, lunch and snack. There are no half-day rates, however the catering costs will be adjusted as needed. The minimum rental with catering charge is $450 per day. Without catering, the minimum daily facility rental charge is $350 per day. Your group will be billed based on the number of people you have reserved for as of 5 business days in advance of your program date.

  • 3 easels, with starter newsprint supplied no charge
  • Markers for meeting use - no charge
  • Limited copy capacity, no charge
  • Additional newsprint pads, $20 per pad per day
  • Digital projector for PC/Mac $100 per day
  • Local calls and limited fax machine use, no charge
  • Most cellular phones work adequately at the Lodge
  • Fully heated and air conditioned for your comfort

We gladly accept Master Card and Visa, including Procurement Cards from organizations.

Highland Lodge Center is open all year round, and invites you to enjoy our surroundings. Inside and out, you can experience beauty and peace while getting important work accomplished together!  What could be better?

As much as we would love to fill the continuous requests our guests make for overnight stays, Highland Lodge Center does not have overnight accommodations.  We have made an exception now and then for a few hardy guests who wanted to "camp out" in tents with their team, but this is not highly recommended! Our space is custom built to serve small and medium sized groups, of up to 30 people.
