Who We Are
We are a family-owned business. George Hewertson and Roxi Bahar Hewertson
are the founders of both the Highland Consulting Group since 1996 and
Highland Lodge since 2001. We built Highland Lodge to meet a need in
the community for a custom-built, private, off-site meeting and learning
place.
George,
who hales from Scotland, has literally had a hand in every part of our
business. He placed all those stones on the fireplace and has touched
every surface of Highland Lodge at least once! Roxi has led hundreds
of people through leadership, change management, and team building retreats
and courses at Highland Lodge and elsewhere around the country. 
George
has hosted thousands of people during their visits to Highland Lodge
since 2001, and has guided many individuals and groups through the
process of learning to work well together.
As much as we would love to fill the continuous requests our guests make for overnight stays, Highland Lodge Center does not have overnight accommodations. We have made an exception now and then for a few hardy guests who wanted to "camp out" in tents with their team, but this is not highly recommended! Our space is custom built to serve small and medium sized groups, of up to 30 people.
